Assessment Ranking: Selection

Modified on Wed, 01 Nov 2023 at 08:07 AM

1. Introduction

By default, a Ranking Score will be shown for each measure and for each Options.

Compare the second Option with the first - is it better, the same or worse? Select a pull-down of Assessment Rankings if different to the default.

2. Examples

The Assessment Ranking identified as the 'Default' will be populated for the Measures for each Option.

As an example, if the first Option is stay in current office building and the other option is to relocate to a city centre location.

Example measures:

  1. 'Desk space available' is rated for the first option, and is the same for both options, so leave as the default.

  2. 'Ability to commute by car' is rated for the first option, and may be worse for the second, City centre, option so select the Assessment Ranking most applicable. How much relatively worse is it?

  3. 'Options for food at lunch time' is rated for the first option, and may be better for the second, City centre, option so select the Assessment Ranking most applicable. How much relatively better is it?

  4. 'Evening socialising' was considered initially for the first option, so is a new one introduced when the second option was identified. Select the Assessment Ranking most applicable. How much relatively better is it?

  5. 'Meal affordability/subsidised meals' may no longer be possible, for example, it may have been removed recently as a benefit across the company. As a result, the previously approved Base case has worsened, out of control of the programme. For example:

If the Score for Meal affordability is:

Basecase = O

Option for comparison = ---

Then the Option incorrectly looks like the Base case is offering greater Benefits. When in reality, the Base case could not meet the previous expectations for meal affordability benefits.

The reality may be:

Basecase = ---

Option for comparison = ---

Then the Option and Base case reflect more the reality.

These scores will have cancelled themselves out and the Base case and Option both are equal scoring in the meal affordability benefit area.
