Assessment Settings - Field Names & Tooltips

Introduction

Different configuration settings exist for you to personalise Assessments.

These are:

1. Global Settings.
2. Help text at the top of each screen.
3. Field names and tooltips.
4. Assessment Rankings.
5. Access permissions.

Field Names & Tooltips.

On screens, like editing an Assessment, the fields have names that can be changed.

Also, when you hover a pointer over these names, a tooltip is displayed with some helpful text.

These both can be changed.

On the edit screens, like the Assessment edit screen, those with permission will see a cog button in the top right.

Steps

1. Select the cog button in the top right of an edit screen to see the button 'Translations'. 

Only users with permission will be able to see this option.

2. Select 'Translations' and information on all the relevant fields for that screen will appear.

Edit the 'Translation' and 'Tooltip' text as required.

• Name: Internal name Wovex uses - for reference only.
• Translation: Name displayed on the screen,
• Description: Text that can be used to add notes. This is not used by Wovex and is for information only. 
• Tooltip: Text that will appear when you point to the Translation text displayed on the edit screen. Use to add information to help simplify completion for the user.
  
  
  

3. Save & Close, when complete, to return to the main screen.

The translation text for the field names and tooltips will be updated for all users.
