Some styles of mapping have connectors to reduce the number of crossing lines/links on a map. You can do the same with Wovex.
Lots of links can map a map very confusing.
Instead of a link going between Outcome 1 and Outcome 2:
Rename either the Requirement or Dependency Object (Objects tab in the desktop) to be a Connector object.
When this is done you can use in the following way:
Here, the Requirement object has been renamed to 'Connector' with a circle shape of width and height of 50.
If you want to have a different shape for the start and end objects, like below, the you can:
1. Rename and change the Requirement object to 'From Connector' with a circle shape of width and height of 50.
2. Rename and change the Dependency object to 'To Connector' with a square shape of width and height of 50.
Lastly, if you want there to be Data Links between Outcome 1 and Outcome 2 in the database, so for example, you can query the relations, then you can.
The steps to take are:
A. Link Outcome 1 to Outcome 2. (In the cloud this will create the Data Link for queries etc)
- If you are mapping in the desktop, then sync with the cloud system (no need to do if mapping in the cloud).
B. Delete/Unlink the link between Outcome 1 and Outcome 2 (this removes the link from the map but keeps the Data link).
C. Add in the Connectors as described previously.
